So I have all my problems fixed from my 6bolt swap except for this. It sounds like the passenger axle is popping when under load. Doesn't really do it in first gear, but when in second at say 2k or so RPM trying to accelerate, it starts to pop. These are brand new axles from Raxles.com. I jacked the car up and wiggled both axles and the passenger axle seemed to move ever so slightly back and forth. And when I wiggle it, I can here a slight clicking noise like it is hitting something. I cant push the axle in/out at all, just back/forth a tad, and when I say a tad, like a millimeter or so. Saturday I am going to pull the axle back out and put it back, but can any of you guys/gals think of anything else that would cause a popping sound under these circumstances? Thanks.

Two things to check: wheel bearings and maybe worn motor mounts and tranny mounts. :dsm:

Good sugestions, I have the prothane motor mount inserts. I will install those this weekend as well.

And how do you check for a bad wheel bearing? Jack up the car and pull/push on the wheel? If its good there shouldnt be any play, bad it will move? Or is that something else.
