Popping only while braking and turning

Noticed while pulling slowly into parking spot, ONLY does it while braking, otherwise it won't pop AT ALL. It will also pop while sitting still and turning the wheel while braking. Suspension has Tokico Struts and springs.. I have gotten mixed information from numerous forums including this one.. The CV boot on the driver side is new.. which is where I think the noise is coming from.. Also, if I turn the steering wheel relatively fast, I can feel a small pop in the steering as well.. Car is a 2g Eclipse.

The problem you are describing is not really a common problem on 2G's, you might want to jack the front end up and crank the wheel to see if it still does that with the weight off the wheels.

Sounds like something is loose. Maybe even your top strut mount under the hood. Jack it up and inspect it.

I would check everything suspension/steering related.
