Ok guys, I found it was time for a change. As some of you know I am a closet ricer. I had these carbon fiber tails on my car for about 4 years or more now. I decided today to change them back to the factory tails.

What do you think?

Hm, I think CF tails would look better but not the ones you have.

Stock definetly looks better. I would be interested to see what those CF tails would look like if they were tinted red with that tail light spray stuff.

I'd have to agree with Anton, the CF does look killer with the color of your car.

Those carbon fiber ones you had in are the only good looking aftermarket ones that I like. But the stock ones are still better.

Do you still have a red center or is the painted one it? I think it looks best with the all red band across the back. And without ECLIPSE. It just flows better. The colored section is just a big plain square block of color in the middle of a nice round rear end. I've never liked the look.

I like the stock also but they both look good. At least you didn't take out the stock middle piece. Then you would be a little more than a "closet" ricer.

Ed - Your car looked great with the altezza tails. Definitely not ricey. I too switched back to stockers a few months ago, and I'm very happy with the new look of my car's ass.

Yeah, I'm like a girl with a mirror when it comes to checking my cars' ass.

I painted my center panel, didn't like it, and ended up doing the boob shapes. I thought the square lines were out of place among all the curves. Normally I hate the "altezza" look, it looks cheap. But I have to say I like the way yours looks with the circle lights, Ed.

carbon fiber all the way man, the second best thing to owning these cars is the all the aftermarket parts you can get. some people will say stock but i say custom. the car dose look kick ass stock but why not put your own twist on it, make it your own, it should olny matter to you. & if you dont like the CF ones i will buy them from you

The painted piece WILL stay I do like that look. I have to admit I liked the carbon fiber ones but the stock look is starting to grow on me FAST.

If you keep the painted center section then please keep the CF tails. Stock tails next to a painted center section definitley looks worse, text or no text.

I have to agree. I like the look of all those. I'm pretty new to the forums, but I believe that if a car can back up the fast looks you give it, its can't be considered riced.
