With all of these polishing threads I decided to polish my stock alum 16" wheels.
To start it off I have a rim with a flat tire that the idiots before me spray painted about 5 colors so right now im letting some paint stripper sit on it then im gonna use the polishing system on that one rim to see how i like it.

nice idea bro you should try lazy mans polish if u have the chance it speeds the process up.

matter of fact, i just had a few threads on polishing, so let me think....... yea, everyone thinks "oh, look at that, let me go home and do my own instead of buying one" thank you for being honest and admitting how hard it is. to do 1 valve cover, to shave it and then high polish it takes me about 9 hrs of numb fingers from sanding.

after attempting a rim i would never try it again it was not worth it
especially when it looked like crap i would rather find someone to do it and pay them if i polished anything else
