here is my question i have a palm with a hot snc cradle.
i know i need to buy a cable which connects my palm to the clip in the fuse box.
now i know that dattalogger sells there software. but i keep hearing about free software that is just as good, but i can't find it anywhere.
Can someone plz help me

What version you have of what? Palm software?
Hotsync it to your computer and just dl the newest os for your palm.
www.palm.com , there's not a "better" of the two softwares. It will come down to which one you like more if they perform the same task's. Tunerstein is a good software to use, but if you dont mind paying 175 bucks I would pickup http://pocketlogger.com/ 's software. I love it personally.

k so basically i need to hotsync my palm to the computer upload the software and then buy a plug which hooks up the palm to my car??

Basically yes.
That cord can be quite pricey tho.
Check ebay if your looking for a cheaper cord, check packetlogger.com if you dont mind spending the extra cash for a cable + software then goto packetlogger. Awsome program and easy to read/understand.
