PnP MSnS is HERE!!!!!

The serial port is for changing the tune and datalogging. The MS is a full standalone speed density ECU. It can handle boost (2.5 bar in the stock configuration and they have add ons for 3 and 4 bar).

It will get rid of your check engine light, but it will also make your factory ECU non-functional, and as such your OBDII non-functional. So, yes, you will still fail if they hook your computer up to the OBDII scanner.

Where did they put the MAP sensor port? Or are they assuming you'll be using the factory one?

It also supports MAF and alpha-N setups.

While looking at the first picture, the MAP sensor port is on the bottom of the unit.

I believe it is in alpha testing phase right now. It was just sent out to a heavily modded turbo 2gnt member (crab I think). So I assume once any problems are found and fixed you can expect it to show up for distribution.

We've waited 13 years for it, whats another month or two . Its best not to rush it because who wants to spend a bunch of money on it and then it fails because of something they could have fixed during the testing phase..

Actually I was the one that got first dibs but I ditched the 2gnt project because my goals were greater than the platform(mainly trans) could carry me. I let chris do the honors of testing it out and letting everyone kow how it works because I knew he would post back here and to paul about how it works. I could easily have sold it for more than I bought it for, but it's not about the money.

and why does it not report back to the obd-II port, it used the same harness which is sopposed to be wired to it... probably bypassed all that i'm guessing.. or just doesnt have the pin outs that the oem does, so u can't use an obd-II with it installed..WTF of course you wouldn't need to because you have a laptop that does all that.. but inspecters dont.. So in order to get a car inspected you would have to switch back o the OEM ecu.. ?? I could only imagine the headaches that this could cause... tuned suddenly going to un-tuned and possibly some mods not supported by the OEM ecu.. i dunno i could be wrong.. it could be an ez swap...

I sent an e-mail to symtech labs and they said you CAN'T go on a waiting list nor would they release any hint of a price... I'm guessing it is going to be much longer than a couple months everyone... Don't toss the Portfueler out the door just yet.

the unit as the guys have said is in testing phase, they only posted to let us know they are working on something awesome..

I bet when they have something final and fool-proof.. You will be able to pre-order all you like. but you still gonna have to wait for it =)

Good to knoW =D ty and Take your time getting things right or whatever.. I'd be so much more willing to buy this, then some other Pecu... even aem.. So megasquit software would have to be used i assume to make changes.. So we have to some how obtain this as well or will what we need be included with our orders? Or will other software also work with it?

Yeah it was my choice to let chris test it out on a turbo setup. I could have kept it and then just ran it around on my built NT but I felt like the people that will really be looking to buy this will be turbo and I would be selfish to just keep this on a NT and never give paul or anyone else any good info on how it does on a boosted app. I mean it has features set up specifically for boost and they would never get used on a NT obviously.

Plug N Play meaning it plugs right in without having to wire a whole bunch of stuff.

Wow... This is good to see. Paul does great work. He helped me out alot back in the day. Makes me miss my old 420a. It looks like the system has come along way since then. Knock sensor and everything now. Should see some beast 420as' running this in the near future.

ohhhhhhh crap!, Where ohh where have I been. Paul comes through. I cant wait to here feedback once this goes on the market. I'm actually looking to buy a new daily driver now so i can be boosting again. Gas prices here are $1.95/gallon, so I can afford to boost again . The car has been re-vamped alot, I need to back on this site more and show some of the new updates to the car haha.

I will be updating soon.... I ran into some problems with my car... My new turbo + 1:1 afpr + bigger injectors + materials to make my custom 3" exhaust should all have been here by now. A couple parts are still missing. Soon enough I'll have everything back together and be playing with the P&P. After I get some practice with it and some dyno numbers I'll be posting more about it.
