The serial port is for changing the tune and datalogging. The MS is a full standalone speed density ECU. It can handle boost (2.5 bar in the stock configuration and they have add ons for 3 and 4 bar).

It will get rid of your check engine light, but it will also make your factory ECU non-functional, and as such your OBDII non-functional. So, yes, you will still fail if they hook your computer up to the OBDII scanner.
Where did they put the MAP sensor port? Or are they assuming you'll be using the factory one?

. Its best not to rush it because who wants to spend a bunch of money on it and then it fails because of something they could have fixed during the testing phase..
... But you said you were sending it out to one of the turbo members, which apparently was chris so I was guessing it was now going to be tested on a turbo 2gnt. I just didn't realize you purchased it, I thought it was sent to you temporarily for testing.
