Alright, so spring time is here, and this is usually the time of year I pick my car up out of the shop, because usually I do the modifications that are going to cause downtime in the winter, when I wouldnt drive much anyway.
Regardless, my problem is, the car isn't running right, and I have no idea why.
I just had a 14b, 550cc injectors, a FMIC, and EGT installed. I changed my blow off setup to blothru, with GM MAS. Theres a MAFt installed as well as an SAFCII.
the problem is, the car will start(after a bit) but it doesnt run right and it's throwing a CEL. When we check to see what CEL it's throwing, it's saying that theres no MAS signal. In turn, this is making my car run extra lean, since the CEL is making the ECU go into safe mode. The EGT's are reading rediculously high as well, so obviously something's up.
I talked to another guy, and he said the only way to getthe car to run right is to get a keydiver, but I didnt think I needed a keydiver to run this setup.
Has anyone else had similar problems in a 2g going to this setup or can anyone think of what could be wrong? All I can think of is maybe the MAfT is wired up wrong...or the GM MAS is bad and needs to be replaced...as soon as the car sees an airflow signal it'll run like a dream with good tuning im sure...PLEASE HELP!
