I have a 99 gst with a big16, 550 injectors, safc1, walbro 255 no rewire, b&m fpr, 3" inch exhuast with no cat, stock side mount, and greddy pipes, and a new fuel filter. my car is running lean, at idle my egt reads 800 degrees and while cruising 70 it reads 1200 degrees and goes up to 1600 at about 16-17 psi of boost. i dont know what my fuel pressure is, i have a guage but haven't put it in yet. this is the sec. motor, the last one broke the 3rd piston and put the 4th rod through the block and starter. it has taken me 2 years to get it running again and i'm pretty much running the same setup as before it tanked. i cant blow it up again. i dont have a dataloger or any real monitoring electronics. Please Help! could it be my tuning? if so how the hell do you tune a safc? should i get some other fuel management? I have an safc2, a spare reg. 16g, should i use either one? i also have a 95 parts car too. I also have another problem. after sitting 2 years my ecu does not send a ground signal to the relay to turn on my fans. any help would be greatly appreciated
