Running way too rich please help

I have a 1995 Eagle Talon Esi with some minor mods. I recently installed a Walbro 255 fuel pump and stall from time to time. I am not burning all the gas and because I do not have the fuel return setup, I have gas coming out of the exhaust. My question is if I can use this pump without a fuel pressure regulator. Also am I better off using the factory pump.

No, you can't use that pump. It would even be overkill on a turbo with the factory FPR, although I'm not sure if the turbo FPR can flow more than the NA one. Unless you have a turbo in your near future, I'm affraid you purchased the wrong fuel pump.

You need a fuel pressure regulator. I'm suprised it runs at all.

I just noticed that your car is an NT. Unless you are running forced induction, all you are doing is fouling out plugs and clogging the 02 sensor and the CAT. Put the stock pump back in.

Thanks for the responses. I guess that explains why it has been parked in my garage for the last three months. Anybody want a Walbro 255......
