[RESOLVED] running WAY too rich . help please

someone help please. i did research this prob. i cant find the answer. ive been building this car for a long time and ive fianly got it running. now im tryin to fine tune but i cant figure out why its runnin to right . i have a 255 fuel pump with stock rail and injectors and adjustable fuel regulator. my regulator is set at 45 any less it wont start any more it wont run. i would like to put in bigger injectors but im getting way to much fuel as it is and my wideband gage isnt reading anything but i kno its working. when i turn the car on it jumps up but when runnin it stays at the bottom even when its reved up . the car wont run on its own at all unless u keep fethering the gas. even if u hold your foot down at about 3000 rpm it will still bogs down and dies what is my problem can any one help me !? if u need to kno mods there on my profile or just ask i really just need some answers

Have you checked your coolant temp sensor and wiring? Make sure its properly wired and working, otherwise it will run pig rich.

i can hint you in the right direction... My 95 awd is having same problemo.. if you have access to a scan tool hook it up and see if your getting a proper reading from the MAF.. Mines running retarded rich w stock injectors stock rail pump etc. its showing a reading of 1.22g/s w the car not even running. tried a few MAFs no luck. The reading should be 0.00 the MAF helps determine Air coming into the engine to allow proper fuel/air mixture... If you figure out why yours is running like shit let me know im so tired of the raw gas smell coming into my car while driving

well i found out my prob . and it could be yours too . i work at a shop so ya i got acsess to a scaner . my maf was doin the same you wanna kno ### it was . its pretty dumb but i had a hugeeee boost leak . it causes ## maf to read diff ### of the air not goin where its posed to and it causes ## injectors to go crazy with fuel so check ## turbo / intercooler / and everything else for any kind of boost leak

sweet. I was suspecting this with mine as well after doing some research... I think mines leaking around the stock side mount.. or the mani maybe cracked you might wanna post that [problem solved]
