Please Help!! BOV install nightmare.

I just got my Turbo xs H-34 racing BOV in today and I'm having serious installation problems. I ordered it from extremepsi.com, along with the adapter kit for the 2g eclipse. Well, first I installed it using the 90 degree elbow, so it was sideways, but I couldn't reconnect the tube from the air intake to the BOV because it realigned the port from the BOV. So I tried installing it without the 90 degree elbow, the dump tube fit perfect and everything went fine until I tried to shut the hood. There is no way the hood is even coming close to shutting with it on. What should I do, please.. any suggestion would be helpful.

u mean the recirc tube? fore now just put it on without recirculating, jsut cap off the intake port on the intake, u'll be fine, then go to an auto store and buy a flex hose...

Whatever you want to call it man. I call it the dump tube because of the way it dumps the air from the Bov back into the intake. I do have it plugged and I just drove around the block and my car stalled just as I was pulling back in the driveway it also is idling very weird, it goes from like 800rpm up to 1300 rpm and then it drops low again and almost sounds like it wants to stall. Maybe I need to put some more washers in it.

Maybe its not because you're venting, maybe the bov is messed up?

"Messed up"????. You would have to be more specific as to what could be "messed up" as you put it. The design actually looks simple and I just read in the instructions and they mentioned something about adding washers to adjust any rough idle. However, I have read countless post that mentioned similiar symptoms that would occur if you choose to "Vent", and the BOV is made to be reccurculated, that's why I got it to avoid problems venting is supposed to cause.

No body is mocking anyone, I asked the guy to explain what he meant by "messed up", who are you his representitive or something. :laugh: He said it was messed up, that could mean any number of things, if he thinks its messed up why didn't he say how so I can fix the problem, that's all. I apologize if you interpit my words sarcasiticly or whatever you thought.

Read the directions that came with your h34... I'm pretty sure it says if you are open atmosphere with it to install ALL of the washers...
