Hopefully anybody can help me. I just bought a 95 gst and there is something very wrong. My car will work just fine for about 15 minutes until it warms up. Then after that, the clutch starts to slip and will barely drive. I can let the clutch completely out in first gear and the clutch barely catches, if i give it too much gas at all it will just slip. i can't accelerate hard at all, i have to slowly creep up to speed to prevent from slipping. The car is also very hard to shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. I just replaced the clutch and slave cylinder too, so it can't be a bad clutch. The previous owner had the work done through firestone, which isn't really a transmission shop. I guess they also found something wrong with the "transmission casing and rod". The rod was worn down and had a groove worn into it so they had it sanded down to smooth out the groove. But obviously that hasn't helped any. I have no idea what the problem could be.

By the way, I also had Aamco, a transmission shop, look at it and they said they don't think it's the tranny, they think it's the clutch. So I'm even more confused now, since the clutch was just replaced. If anybody could help me by putting in their .02 I would really really really appreciate it.

man, i feel sick right now it's so bad. :barf:

really? is it possible to fix the current flywheel or would i have to replace the whole thing? how exactly can a flywheel cause these problems? or pressure plate?

Okay, I just found out some new info. The flywheel has been resurfaced two times already. Does anybody else think that this might be what is causing the problem?
