So I am doing some normal performance maintenance, as well as upgrading the fuel system, and intake manifold, as well as knock sensor. So I pull up on my ramps, take the driver side off the ramp and placce it on a jack stand. I check the wheel bearings for play. non found. Next I check the CV's and axles. And as I rock the wheel forward and back, it seems I can move it approximatly 5 degrees front to back. As well as hearing a wierd noise in the transferr case. How much play is to be expected in an AWD, Automatic drive train. Keep in mind, I have one wheel on the ramp and one free spining on a jack stand. This was intended to test each side of the cars drivetrain parts.

**anyone have an idea on this?**
