planning on 55 Dry shot, what do i need?

stats: 94 mitsubishi Galant (2.4L SOHC 4 banger - 4g64)

I read through all the entire Faq's and articles written about nitrous, and i'm only using a 55shot, but this applys to a more specific problem. but first, i want to make sure I can run a 55 dry shot on a completely stock motor. the head has been recently rebuilt, only about 10K miles on it, and the entire engine system has been well maintained. What do I need to run this 55 shot basically.

Now my tech question, it's a somewhat well known fact that all 7G (94-98) Galants have a overworked fuel pump, and that our fuel pumps are a little too small for our car stock. I might replace it with a bigger one, but basically, if I get a Zex dry kit, will the zex module automatically shut off the nitrous if there isn't enough gas to match the ratios? Thanks in advance.

I would put in a 190lph fuel pump just to be safe if your not confident in your fuel pump. The Zex kit does try and maintain a good air fuel ratio by increasing the fuel pressure or decreasing the fuel pressure based on nitrous pressure, but that is all it does. The kit assumes your pump is upto the flow, if it's not your going to go lean and blow up the motor. The kit can do nothing to save your motor. THey have a fuel pressure safty switch but it needs to be under 30psi to cut off the nitrous it. That works great if you have outright fuel pump failure, however if it's working ok but just can't keep up but can produce more then 30psi (which I will be able to) then your going ot just run lean and blow it up.

I would run NGK sparkplugs one range colder than stock as well (higher number is colder). Other then that, no problems.
