who makes the best pistons out of JE, Wiseco, and Ross? i am looking to purchase a set for my car and want to know if one is clearly better than the others or if they are basically the same. any info would be appreciated.

BTW: it is for a 6 bolt and i want to use 8.5:1 comp if that makes a difference. also i want to go with std bore if my block will allow for it, i dont see and damage in the cylinders and the crosshatch is still present.

I couldnt tell you from personal experience yet....but when I was researching...wiseco was the best bang for the buck...so thats what I went with...it also depends on your goals...and how far your going...

ah someone like me...started off as a simple rebuild...next thing i know the 6 bolts going into a 2g and I got hks 272 cams going in.....just spend like an hour in the cylinder head and short block forum reading up on the various pistons...you will pick up alot and be able to make a choice from there....thats what I did.

This all depends on what your goals are for your car. Will it be daily driven? How much power do you need the pistons to handle? Searching would have brought up some great answers too!
