piston slap

First time dsm user here.

History: paid 200 for a talon tsi awd with 16g turbo and rebuilt engine with acouple of thousand miles on it.
Problem: I hear piston slap when the car is started cold.

Do these engines have forged pistons and is this common

They do not come with forged Pistons. Did you get a build recepit when you purchased the car? Maybe on the build someone installed forged Pistons? In witch case it's normal to her this for a min on cold starts
