I want to pour some MMO in each cylinder and see if it leaks out and if so how fast, as a way to see if I have any burnt pistons or rings.

What is the proper position for the piston to do so?

What would be normal? What would be bad?

I will pour 4 oz in each cylinder hole.

That won't tell you anything. Perform a compression and leakdown test. BTW, from what I've read, MMO is a pure snake oil product.

that's why a leak down test was suggested :toobad: a compression test and leak down test are 2 different things.

I know...I didn't refuse the leakdown anyway. That's not what I was asking for..:toobad:

Well I found a leak down tester at Harbor Freight for $40, so I'm gonna buy that, as well as due another compression test first. Both dry and wet.
