2G Piece of plastic behind Gas Pedel

There appears to be a peice of plastic that is behind my gas pedel on my 95 turbo... it doesnt go to the "floor" am I actualy getting full throttle? Can I remove this? Would it do anything?

my friend told me when its on you only get like 89% throttle at full?

I also do not know what you are talking about. If the throttle isn't opening all the way, you probably need to adjust the cable.

It's just a peddle stop. You don't want to remove it because you may then overextend the throttle cable, and partially close the throttle.

when the car is off have a friend put the pedal all the way to the floor... if the throttle body opens all the way... then yes it is... if it does not adjust ur cable tension... that little plastic thingy was put there for a reason

Don't take that off! People always question that damn thing. Mitsu didn't put it there to restrict throttle by 11%. Tell your friend he's a dumbass courtesy of me! Todd95tsi is right. Its there to stop your throttle fron over extending. If that wasn't there your throttle plate would open up too far and possibly stick.

It's a holder for the nawzz switch. F&F was on Mitsubishi's mind long before the movie came out.

Yeah don't listen to these guys its really a nawzz switch... It is a secret design to make their project DSM go faster... but the DSM didn't fly so thats why we are here with a useless nawzz switch... But now you know and knowing is half the battle... and now hook up some nawzz there...
