Picture help. Trans Dowel Pin

Okay, I need a pic of what the Dowel pins for the transmission alignment on a 1g. I ordered some through the local dealership but the are really small. I told them they are for the transmission to the block.

Also is it a big deal if they are not in there?

Yes they are necessary; the bolts are not an accurate enough way to position the transmission bellhousing to the engine block (they don't fit tight enough in the holes). They don't go in very far, so yes they are small.

can someone tell me the part number for them? I got some reall small pins that are about 1/4 inch long and then 1/8 round. does anyone have a picture?

This is what they look like and they are important in lining the transmission properly up on the engine
without these you could face clutch issues.

those are the right ones the ones I got from the dealer are rear main seal dowel pins on this web page Slowboy Racing :: OEM Parts :: DSM OEM Parts :: Engine

I will purchase those.

I got them from extremepsi.com they were cheaper and it cost me half the amount as SBR. for the same two parts.
