Umm speed racer... so basically you're running nitrous on a stock Non-Turbo, Automatic Eclipse..... can i say you're going to rip your drivetrain and engine internals, and no sorry you have NO CHANCE of beating a Mustang GT with that car...

YES! His first post and the noob is already ripping on the NT's! are they breeding or something? hows it a waste of money? whats so special about your car? cuz i know it would be a damn close race if your stock against my near "stock" NT.

and no, sorry, he wont start ripping his engine and tranny apart, especially if hes only running a 50 shot, our cars can easily handle a 75 shot, which im running right now. and besides 2000 and 1999 model mustang GT's, which ran low 14's stock, car-stats.com says that 2002 and earlier models before 99 run low 15's stock which would be a close race. thanks for playing

Um no. I ran a 75 shot on my old n/t and it held up just fine. It was a blast to drive. Putting nitrous on my 2gnt was fun and well worth the money.

Well, To you it may have been a waste of money but I'm not trying to make a 12 sec race car or something like that. It just a car for me to whip around in, not to be king of the street racers. The only reason I said I hope that I could take GT's is because I smashed the shit out of my friends 5-speed v6. Is it so bad for a kid to dream? . Anyways, thanks to everyone for there opnions/comments/questions/bashing.

you really SHOULD mount your bottle with the nozzle facing forwards...there's a siphon tube in the bottle, so when you hit the gas all the nitrous moves to the back of the bottle where the siphon is....clean install aside from that though

it doesnt matter that much. if you dont have enough left for it to get up the tube during full acceleration, you should probably refill your bottle

Install is very clean.

I'm still pretty much against street use of NOS. But have fun. I'm sure the first time I hit WOT with a nitrous kit on, I'd be singing a different tune.

clean install. As far as modding / spraying your car .. don't listen to what others tell you when they say it's a waste of money. I personally wouldn't waste any time on a n/t eclipse or talon either but you gotta go with what you have and it's cool that you're still trying.

Install looks real clean and well planned. It's always nice to see someone who takes pride in what they do. Too many people seem to just slap things together anymore :thumbdown

Read the whole thread. I got that pos for $550 and was just looking to do some cheap mods because the talon is slower than a school bus and I had an safc and a nitrous kit laying around from the gsx. (I have a built internals gsx) The only mods the talon has to this day is intake and exhaust and guess who put those on? That's right the ricer that owned the car before me. Don't bash if you don't know what you're talking about.
