Basically i'am trying to figure out a way to stop all my boost from escaping through the PVC system until i can get a repair kit for the seals on my turbo. I also have never had a "good" pcv/catch-can setup on my car. I outlined a few ideas after reading Calan's write up on the PCV system and thought i'd leave the judging to those who know allot about it.

I was thinking Idea #3 but just let me know what you all think.

The last one is the best choice, the first will also work. The second choice is more for race cars but you do not need the check valve.

Have you tried replacing the pcv? if its a bad pcv then replace it or buy a high pressure check valve and use that as well as the pcv.

I guess the 3rd one will be it then. Iam going to buy a pcv valve from o'reilly since i guess its the same thing as a check valve.

.

the last option is going to be the best for a street car. You can get a "single" can, just bifurcated so that there are two reservoirs separated.

No need for a check valve on the 2nd option though.

True, i was just going to use a sealed water bottle(a re-usable nice one) as a catch can; my friend does it that way. I can also use a pcv valve from an auto parts store and it will act just like a check valve?

If you're going to go the route of a catch can, may I make a suggestion and spend some money on a nice system? Cheaping out is going to make you regret it in the end. Get a nice fabbed can with some AN fittings and do it correctly. (-10 to the can x2, -10 to the intake pipe, -10 to the vacuum source (intake manifold)).

My ss water bottles work fine and don't leak at all. 30 bucks to build it like #3. I'll be back in town in a couple days if you wanna check how I did mine again.
