Nice parts by what is shown.

I'd rather see where the air is dumped into the rotor than a shiny promo shot. I'm hoping it's at the hub center.

Noted there's no pic of the ducting....if it's dryer vent hose that would sum up the engineering quailties. Hopefully they at least include some quality CAT or SCAT ducting and some trim rings for the bumper sized properly.

Say what?: Aircraft Spruce and Specialty. See 'ducting' and related.

The problem with this is the same most FWD owners have- you are not getting the best use of the air. It's pointed at the rotor and that will lead to problems. Temperature inbalances will cause premature pad wear and pehaps some cracking issues. The air needs to point to the center of the hub area and be disbursed by the center venting of the rotor.

Chris I've got photos of a couple different setups here at my gallery at Indystars.org

I'll be building something similar to this to help feed the air to the center of the rotor, but of course with the axle and everything else in there it makes it a tight fit. I've been thinking that taking a 3" piece of pipe and narrowing the one end will be the easiest way. It'll cost me a little flow possibly, but keep the air in the right area.

Much easier on Mustangs where you don't have to worry about axles running through there.

Same with BMW's

and supra's

doesn't need to be complicated though (supra vent removed)

I'm going to be feeding mine via naca ducts on the front bumper similar to the RRE car here.

Damn the BMW vents look nice. I guess I'll have to fabricate something... and Todd, the kit I linked to up above used silicone hose. A local Evo guy has the kit and it looks pretty nice. I'll take a look at it next time to see if the air is being directed towards the rotor or the center of the rotor.

Seems to me that it will be pretty difficult to feed air to the center of the rotor on our cars. I'll have to take a closer look.

I'm planning on using a combination of that supra setup and the bmw setup. Locate it like they do on the supra, but you can see how the round piping is tapered into more of an oval by the time it reaches the rotor on the bmw. It'll be a tight fit, but I think that's my best bet. Plus i'm still on the stock dual piston setup so I've got less room to work with.
