Do they make a performace chip for the turbo 2g??? and only one i found was superchip and that was $700

Nope, and since you have a 98 you dont even have an EEPROM ECU in case you wanted something like a TMO or keydiver chip (not a "performance chip", it just adds cool things like custom fuel maps for larger injectors, raised redline (if u want), turns the stock boost gauge into a knock gauge, etc).
