I'll be in Pensacola from April to October next year and I'll be looking to buy a DSM while out there. What shops are out there? I'm probably going to have it built for me since I'll be too busy with Navy A school to work on it myself.

Moved out to Destin a couple years ago to fly parasail.

Haven't had a dsm since the 5 of them i owned about 10 years ago. I've been looking for one. I think it's time for another VR4 or 2g unless I find a Laser, i've never owned a laser.

Are there any drag strips around????

forget the shop boy! Back in the midwest all us DSM guys were REAL tight, I don't think there's anything a case of beer, a cherry picker and a few us can't handle.

I hate transmissions/drive lines and am worthless as far as rebuilding the motor aside from dissembling but i can give you a hand putting it all back together. There are some machine shops but I don't think there is anything for performance shops around but I could be wrong.

There "was" one in holt, but they closed down. I've been to holt a few times when they were open. Panama city is the nearest one. 1/8 mile. I've never been there though. I think its called breakaway dragway or something like that.
