Hey.
The shop where I had my clutch done has no IDEA how come my pedal pressure changes sooo much wit my NEW ACT2600.... and there is a new master and slave cycl. Thanks for the help guys.

It changes or it changed? I'm sure you knew it would be heavier than the stock pedal, have you had the lines bled in case there are any air bubbles?

If it changed from the original pressure that cause it is a 2600 VS an original PP. If the 2600 changes all the time then make sure all the line are bled and that you have removed that acumulator thingy and replaced it with a braided line. You can also try a new slave and master cylinder.

I dont have any pics, but I can tell you were it is. If you look at the shift levers on the tranny itself, right next to them you will see a black cylindershape with the lines for the slave cylinder going in and out of it. This is that piece. Alot fo 2G have said that with a high pressure PP they will get a weird feeling in the pedal. Once they replace that, and the lines that coresspond with it, they get a good pedal feel.

Thanks a lot boostedinaz...
That's exactly what I thought.
So let me see if I got this correct.

So at the fitting where the accumulator receives fluid from the master cylinder, I'd install a braided line up to the slave cylinder?
So when we buy clutch kits like say from SBR and the kit comes with a Goodridge Stainless Steel Braided line,
is this where we'd install it, or is this line from the accumulator to the slave cylinder?

Thanks in advance.........

There is a hard line that comes down the passanger side fender. It ends and the rubber line starts, goes to the accumulator thingy, then from that to the slave cylinder. The braided line replaces all of that rubber line.

RRE sells a stainless steel clutch line that will bolt right up to the slave cylinder, bypassing the clutch FCU.

I use it on my car and it made a WORLD of difference. Highly recommended.

Thanx guys, my car did the same thing when i put my Dual Friction in, I didn't know about that. Big help... thanx again

Might want to start a new thread about that. If you keep to one topic per thread, it makes it easier to read for those searching.
