pda to dionastic port cable???

I know how to make a cable using a db9 connector but I would like to know if there's a way that I could connect the datalogger cable to the dionastic port as one direct cable without using a db9 connector, if so what color wires run from the datalogger to the dionastic port???? or is this impossible??? I hope someone can help. thanks

Here is one link that describes how to make the interface/cable for a 1g. I know there is another out there, but I'm too tired to search for it (maybe on www.vfaq.com).
