Passenger seatbelt always loose

My passenger front seatbelt is loose constantly and when i drive with the windows down it flys around and hits things so i want to get that fixed...Is this the pretensioner? spring? belt itself?

Will i need to buy a new one or is this something i can take care of with a part or two.

You can just buckle it all the time or try replacing it. Mine does the same thing on the highway so I usually just buckle it.

My guess is you have a bad seat belt retractor. I would take apart the panel and check to see if something is holding it up (a twist) or if it's, in fact, busted. A quick search on Google and I found an eHow.com article on checking/replacing the seat belt retractor...

i replaced my driver side. i ordered it from mitsubishi i paid 64 buck for it. but i got it at shop cost tho. you might be able to find it after market.
