Resolved Pass Emissions with CEL on?

I was wondering if your check engine light is on, will they not test the car? And if so... Can having an aftermarket bov vent, cause the check engine light to come on? Thanks for any help.

If you have a 96+ and your CEL is on they will fail you.

It's possible it could be because of a vented BOV but I doubt it.

If you have an autozone by you have them pull them code, post it up and we can tell you how to fix it.

Just an update, we changed the bov to a greddy type s with the greddy upper and lower icp, and is now dumping back into the intake. The check engine light has gone off. Thanks for the help.
