Can I use my timing belt pulleys from my 1g 7 bolt on my 1g 6bolt ?

Can I use the mount that's bolted to the engine from the same engine on the new 6 bolt ?

Also can I use the two tins that bolt to the head and the one that bolts to the block from the 7 bolt ?

Here is a pic of what I pulled off the stock 1g 7 bolt, that I plan on using on my 6bolt.

I'm pretty sure all this can be used on my 6 bolt. The ones I really don't know about is the metal tins as they are probably specific to the 6 bolt timing cover.

Based on this post... http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/151871228-post32.html It looks like I need a new lower rear tin.

Caps is confusing me. Do I need a Side Motor Mount from a early 92 car with a 6 bolt in it?

Or

Can I use my Side Motor Mount from my car?

I figured out I do need a new rear lower timing tin for the 6 bolt. They are different on the 1g7bolts.

While just like the rest of the people said, I suggest you get new components. But, they didn't answer your question either. 1g 7 bolts and 1g 6 bolts have a lot in common. According to CAPS: You can use the pulleys and the 2 upper tins. I think the mount itself is different because CAPS specifies a different part number for the assembled unit. Yet, the parts that attach to the mount all have the same part numbers between 6/7 bolt engines, even the belt tensioner arm. The lower tin has a different part number therefore I believe it to be different.

And you didn't ask about the auto-tensioner, but it's different between the two also.

My timing belt pulleys have less than 6,000 miles on them from my 1g 7 bolt engine. So I am reusing them. So I'm good there.

I have a brand new 6 bolt auto tensioner already. So I'm also good there too.

So it looks like I have to get a engine side motor mount from a early 92 6 bolt car ? This is what I'm stuck on right now.

Thanks for the replies so far guys!
