- MHI Evo III 16G.

- A piece-o-shite 1G MAS and rubber snorkel intake. Your turbo will overdraw this MAS at 17psi. Lose this in favor of a 2G draw-thru MAS and *recirculate your blow off valve*, or switch to a blow-thru GM MAS setup and do whatever you want with your blow off valve.

- No cat.

- Looks like possibly the older Buschur race core? That's what I have on my AWD- although your core looks taller.


There's no way the car was modded "heavy" with that MAS in place. Perhaps there were parts bolted on the car, but the car was far from using the parts to their fullest potential.
 
Ok, so If I go with this GM setup, and install it after the BOV (which is HKS is that good?) I don't need to recirculate the air, but I do need a translator?

I did a boost leak test and found that the intercooler was hit with something on a lower corner and is leaking, looks like the previous owner JB welded it, but missed a spot. Will that hold if I just finish it with JB?

What is a decent cheap CAI setup?

If I change the MAS to something better, what is this car capable of after that as is?

That is lightly moded the cai is cold air intake.ditch the hks and get a greddy type s.they have a adapter to recurulate the bov.jb weld will fix the fmic.that bov vented is robbing ## car of a lot of power get that fixed.

Thanks bro, I knew what CAI stood for, I was asking what is a decent cheap one?
