Parking light

My driver side parking light is being dumb. It only comes on when i put it to turn but it does not come on normal with the parking or tail lights ok guys i have replace the bulb and still nothing. What can it be?

could be a short in the wiring or a just a bad connection. i would assume that the turn lamp and stop lamp are on the same ground, or where its connected to the frame. now thats important because that most likely means the ground wires from the turn signals are touching the ground wires from the stop lamp. when you turn the turn signal on its a complete circuit and there for the ground is "active". since the wires are touching that also probably mahes the stop lamp ground active. i would go to where its connected to the frame and try to play with the wires see if that helps maybe you just need a better ground connection.

I also say a short your going to have to look at the wiring in detail may even have to remove the bumper cover.

Are you using a dual-filament bulb? Do you have it backward in the socket? Is it fully seated? Is the socket full of corrosion?

I have done this and still nothing theother side works fine tho

Check your other turn signal bulbs as well. Make sure none of them are either in their socket backward, not fully seated, or corroded.
