Pantyhose.....for fiberglass :D

I seen this one guy who posted a tech guid to making a custom mount for a tweeter in the mirror.

Anyway, I read you use fiber glass cloth to lay over an opening and then you put resin over it. But pantyhose will fit over the gap too, so will that work as well? LMK

When I was an electrician I used pantie hose to get the fiberglass off my skin.

The fibers in hose are no where as strong as glass but as long as you use a resin that doesn't have solvents that would melt it you could use it. You can avoid temp problems by using thin coats.
