I cant seem to get my logs to go onto my PC. I save log , then goto palm/tony/backup and its not there . I do an entire computer search on PC and it wont find it !!! I tried with a m105 and this m130 and it still not working !! Is there a way i can transfer it to my SD card within the palm , this is really starting ti piss me off

Which version of Windows are you using? It might be that the computer is hiding what it thinks are system files from you. In My Computer|View, make sure you check the option for displaying hidden files and folders.

i am using XP SP2. I will go in there and turn that on and see if it pops up. Its just so frustrating cause i have never been able to do this.

Whenever you perform a HotSync, you can specify in the HotSync app whether to designate the PC or the Palm as the "master" copy of data. Like, if you're syncing an Address Book you can choose to have the PC entries overwritten with Palm entries, or vice versa.

I'm not sure how you're copying data between your Palm and PC (I have DSMLink which may copy data differently between the two, I don't know), but I'm just trying to figure different things that may be happening.

I been trying to figure this out forever but it just does NOT work at all for me. This is VERY frustrating

I'm having the same proble, the app that is supposed to send the file to the computer doesn't work, and I can't find the back up file when I sync

Did you check the HotSync like Doug suggested? If you save logs on the Palm can you view them on the Palm before you HotSync? If you then take your Palm and HotSync with the PC are they still on the Palm? If they are not, you have the HotSync set to overwrite everything on the Palm. You need to check you HotSync settings. :thumb:

Sorry man-- that was my one shot. The only other thing I can think of is when you Sync, do you have the Palm or the PC as the overriding device?
where is that setting i cant find it

Right-click on the HotSync Manager icon in the system tray. Select "Custom..." and scroll down to the conduit entry called "System" and see what action is selected for it. It should say "Handheld overwrites Desktop". If it doesn't, change it.
