Just got finished giving my carbon fiber hood some paint. Gave it a coat of PPG Prizmatique with a couple shots of clear coat over it. No pictures of it on the car yet as I'm letting it cure over night, but here's what she looks like!

It still looks like carbon fiber to me, you just added that glitter effect?.
What color car is it going on?

Yes, all that was added was the glitter efffect. I wanted to keep the carbon look, but add a twist to it and this was what I came up with. The hood needed a coat of clear coat on it as well for the protection aspect.

It's going on my Monarch Green 2G. It should compliment the color fine, as I loved the look of my carbon hood alone on it before.

Thanks for the input!

Hey guys, got the hood on the car today but I didn't get a chance to get a picture of it. The hood looks awesome on the car, its a very subtle addition which I do think takes away from the overall look of the car. Its just one of those things that when you see it, you kind of take a second look because it catches your eye, but in a good way.

I'll get pictures of it ASAP!
