Hey guys I got a White 94 Talon, All original, no wrecks, never repainted or anything like that.

It's in amazing condition. I picked it up for 500$ with a dead auto tranny, and did a 5 speed swap.

Now I got the front end really dirty while doing the swap, mostly just alot of black hand\finger prints.

now I cleaned it off real well but alot of the finger prints left a yellow spot on the paint that I can't seem to get off, anyone have any ideas on something that will really clean the hell out of my cars paint without damaging it?

Thanks!

Lacquer Thinner, and two microfiber rags. one to apply, one to remove. Start in small sections. Try to find 3M Final Glaze, and apply that the same way.

I'm thinkin maybe the Clay bar thing a buddy of mine uses' it on his RX8 and his car always looks perfect LOL.

i don't think the lacquer thinner, We use that stuff on floors at work and I mean if it will liquify 30 year old epoxy floors I'm pretty sure it would just destroy my paint. Thanks for the suggestion tho :)

If what you use "liquefies" epoxy flooring, I'm most definitely sure it's NOT Lacquer Thinner. Maybe you're thinking of regular paint thinner. Lacquer Thinner is safe on paint more than 60 days old. It will however, strip FRESH paint, but is too weak to actually break down 17 year old paint. It will clean the grease off, and the 3M final glaze will bring the shine back without you having to take it to a body shop.
