I have looked for more information on this code but most threads end with the BISS screw being used to compensate but no final aswer of did that turn the light off.

I have a 97 2.4 Spyder wiht a P0505. I replaced the Idle Air Control Valve and still have the light. Any input on as to what can be setting the light? I also have a high idle. Its idling around 1200-1400 RPM in drive/neutral while warm

Any input would be appreciated

That is definitely related to Idle, but it's not always easy to figure out on our cars, these threads may help some. I definitely went through all of these steps when mine was acting wonky after my accident:
Terry's Talon Troubleshooting Tips #3 - Fast Idle (aka. Idle Surge)

Also this gives some general info on how the Idle control circuit works.

Hope those help, they helped me figure out it was my FIAV, got a block off plate and :)
