P0505 Code Bad Idle Intermittently

Hey guys so over the last couple days I've noticed that my car idles eratically, it'll drop, die, and then idle normally again. It'll be fine for a couple a hours then start again. I took off the throttle body and cleaned it with carb cleaner, as well as the iac motor. I've been reading many threads, and some mention that it could be the ecu, or the egr. Couple of days ago I did a boost leak, noticed a leak at the egr valve. So I'm thinking it might have something to do with the idle problems. I used to have an rs, that had the same problem and it turned out to be the iac itself, but after reading those threads I'm skeptical about changing the iac. Is there a way to test the iac? As I said the code is there all the time, but then it'll idle perfectly for a while, and then all of the sudden it'll as I push in the clutch, it'll die.

i could have wrote it out and tried to explain it or i can just make a copy out of the manual... i think ill go with the copy out of the manual.

I see you have a 4g63, does that diagram also apply to the 420a?

actually this diagram only applies to a 420a. the 4g63 isc has 6pins
