So I go to start my car this morning (needless to say the car has never had a starting problem) and the car just doesn't crank but I have full battery power, so I pop the hood and check my spark plugs/wires and then give it a go and the car starts and drives perfectly fine. I think nothing of it and then park after the drive, until I go to start the car up again just a few minutes ago and it is doing the exact same thing as it did this morning only this time it won't crank over at all after several attempts and I get the CEL and the logger shows a p0335. Now I have a few questions
1. So this morning I guess the CPS was malfunctioning, but somehow I was able to start the car and drive perfectly fine. So what would've caused the car to start after a few tries?
2. I know where the CPS is located on the 2g and I doubt I have the mechanical knowledge to take all of my pulleys, etc off to change it, so it there any way to get the car to start like I did this morning to get it to a shop?
3. When I turn my key to the access 2 I hear a click coming from under the hood. Could this be part of the problem and sometimes when I turn the car off I will hear a quick repeated click for a second. Any idea what this might be and if it has to do with the problem?
Would it be possible for me to replace it? I have done a turbo swap, but I am fairly sure that the belts and pulleys would require a bit more knowledge wouldn't they? What all would have to come off to access the CPS and can someone give me the part number so I can see if any dealer carries it close to me
