P/S Cooler

Well just a quick question for you guys that have did this before....i want to remove my powersteering cooler...are there any problems related to this..??? i dont autoX or nothin like that so not to hard on the sytem to start with...i am just lookin to clean up under hood and one line is bent anyway.....dont think it would affect the p/s should it???? help!!

I did it. My buddies did it. But there will be people out there who tell you not to do it because a mitsubishi designer put it there for a reason. Blah, blah, yadda, yadda.

In my experience, no problems in a year of driving.

I'd at least replace ALL O-Rings, flush & go to Synthetic PS Fluid prior to deleting PS Cooler.

No actually I know a few people who have not had one for quite some time with no problems. I myself actually used an oil engine oil cooler and ran the lines into that. I had it laying around and figured I might as well use it, it's not like its going to hurt anything.


But should be fine without one at all
