overflow punking out coolant.

so on my way home tonight my car decided too punk up all of its coolant out the overflow nipple. oil look good, its not milky. head gasket or thermostat? i replaced the thermostat a couple months ago then i bought the car?

It sounds like a clogged water passage or a fried thermostat. With as cheap as they are, you can't go wrong with buying a new one. Especially with winter coming.

Could be the radiator cap too, if it's not holding properly the spring will rise back up and allow coolant to go into your overflow tank.

start with basics... radiator cap, thermostat, blockage in some way, etc etc. i take my thermostat off all my cars...

Radiator cap. My ole' '93 did that to me back in 2000. I thought the car was gonna blow-up for sure, but it was just a bad gasket on the radiator cap.

Same, my talon did the exact same thing.. spent $200 on new gaskets and came to find out my radiator cap was just shot. However my laser now the same thing happened and this is what I found last night

The two on the left aren't as big/noticable as the right one. But they are each indeed blown all the way. The right one was big enough coolant was pissing out the back of the motor which is when I finally decided to pull it.

Had been pushing some coolant for some time and ran 11's like this less than 100 miles ago.. amazed it ran as good as it did.

well the thremostat was stuck close. i picked up another one and a cap

im hoping at this point that ,thats all thats wrong with it
