How the hell do those work, anyone know?

Yeah, Lexus's and other luxury vehicles have them. I noticed it inside my mom's Lexus... when some jerk off had thier high beams on behind us... it dimmed really dark, she didn't even realize they had thier high beams on.

Hahaha... so... nothing like peoples' transition lenses in their eye glasses... haha.

I always wanted to see Window Tint made with this stuff! That would be ultimate! Daytime the tint would be really dark... Nighttime it would get lighter. LOL if some wetad took a flashlight to them, it would tint where the light was hiting LOL

Damn! How did no one point out Black2gsx's friggin' incredible interior. Don't get me wrong, that mirror is nice... but all the custom work on the interior looks awesome. I'm trying to convert my all grey interior to something luxurious and clean, but not the same old all plain black look. Great Job!! :thumb:

He posted pictures a while back when we had the "Vinyl Paint" thread going on... It is awsome huh? Thats like some sexy ass interior. He could sell the car mainly on the interior!

Yea, I've painted the lower half of my interior black and left the upper portion grey. Once I get my new carpet in, it should really set it off. If I had to do it again though, I would've used Krylon Fusion's flat black as opposed to the Semi-gloss that I used. It still looks amazing but I noticed that in BlackGSX2g's that he must've masked off the lower portion of the door from the upper because I know that there isn't an actual seam or separation line right there. Either way, it looks great and hope that when I'm finished with mine that it looks 1/2 as good as that (I'm sure that it will).

Sorry for hyjacking. But just a response to you 95CarbonEclipse. The OEM color of the interior in my 97, I hated! It was that beige color. So I used the Glossy Black Vinyl paint. It looked killer... but did NOT match the OEM Black dash. So I redid the entire thing, everything that was not black, I repainted with the Flat Black Vinyl Paint. And now it all matches. I think I am going to do a little more detailing like blackGSX2g's interior with some Flat Gray Vinyl Paint. But not anytime soon since it looks hot already.

Yea.. my interior is 110% better then it used to look. A lot of that is due to the interior being a complete mess when I originally got it. I'll have to take some pics once my floor mats come in and my carpet is finished.

Thanks guys...yea I marked where the black on the dash meets up with the door and used some good painters tape to block off the line I wanted. I removed the grey padding completely so I didn't have to tape it off. I never liked how the 97-99 doors were just completely black and didn't mate to the dash very well, so I just did my own. I used Dupli-Color flat black for them and it matches the OEM black pieces perfectly. Just make sure you prep it or it will scratch off easily.

anyhow lets get back to the temp gauges and what not....
Any one have a temp gauge like in there door mirrors?
Now that would look nice.
