Other end of BOV vacuum hose...

Hey, I am trying to find out where the other end of the BOV vacuum hose connects to the engine.

I've tried searching through both a Chilton's manual, and the DSM manual CD, along with searching the internet for answers, but haven't come up with anything definitive.

It connects to a nipple on the front of the intake manifold. If you don't have a turbo intake manifold, you may need to tap into another vacuum/boost source. The line is the far left one in the front of the intake manifold near the pcv valve nipple(larger than the other ones).

Im not sure were they normally hook it at on a nonturbo but i know it does go on the intake manifold after the throttel body. So that way the bov knows when teh throttle closes so it will recieve vacuum when it closes

I've got a turbo motor in my car. I've swapped everything over.

I need to do some work on wiring though, and I don't really have any experience.

I kind of live in a hick town, but there is an automotive technology class at the local community college, I've been thinking about asking them to help me out with it. I hear that the school hires out the auto-tech club for $12 an hour. I'm just kind of worried that they will all be redneck mustang owners that don't know anything.

Do you think they could figure it out, or would it be more cost-efficient to take it to a professional?

Get a hold of someone that is close by to you that knows dsm's and see if they could help you.

Chances are, you could find alot of stuff here just by searching.

This might help, but please ignore the line T'ed into the BOV line. That is for a MBC and is the wrong way to hook one up.
