I have been infatuated with DSMLink ever since I read up on it... I have lots of questions still... But the main ones are:

1. When DSMLink sockets your eprom ecu do they sent your old eprom back with the rest or is it destroyed (or kept for unnatural purposes :D )

2. I have been looking at this tuning guide and was wondering... when initially tuning out knock by dropping the timing first, do you drop timing across the board? or just at the rpm points that knock is present?... The DSMLink says that the timing adjustments you've made are always active (no matter what airflow or throttle position). So this means that at 2500 rpms if you've tuned 2* timing down then this will be the case no mater if your in open loop or closed loop... won't this make things a little sluggish in closed loop if you've had to retard timing?... or is that why it was said not to pull more than 2* timing?

3. FINALLY, I can't remember this. are the fuel injectors Dejon Tool sells PTEs? I have "650s". Are they PTE 680s or 650s or what...??? I ordered DSMLink for PTE680s. Did i screw up? On my maft, they are more like 640s-630s

Forgive me for the noob questions... I'm used to MAFT and 650s where i don't go into open loop until way later than stock :notgood:

tahx for the reply. I have been trying to get on there forum but you have to pay for DSMLink first... I did of course but its still in "electron form" getting sent to their accounts and whatnot i guess... they won't issue access until payment has been confirmed :(
