options/opinions for gs-t build

i just bought a 1997 GS-T that has a spun bearing which screwed the short block so a new one is needed. i purchased the car for $1900 from a neighbor. exterior is VERY clean engine bay also clean as shown in pic. the mods are listed in profile-good deal? i am now faced with the question of reg shortblock or built/bored and what brand.? im also a super noob soo i was wanting opinions on what would be best for my setup also im not looking to make the fastest dsm just something that will be decent on the street :sneaky:

edit: i will be towing the car home once i get off work and will post pics and keep udating the build but will be relatively slow since im only 17 and full time student
 
You will want an LSD in the transmission.

B16G or even a 50 trim.

it has LSD, fuel system, i have a big 16g on and a t3/t4 turbo. and for the most part yes this will be a budget build. although i want decent power...enough to be quick in the streets
