**** that was quick. looks good! how did it sound before you put on the turbo? i would imagine it changed the sound? thanks again.

ebay Tsudo N1 style :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I liked how mine sounded n/a, wasn't as bad as some of the ric0rs around here....
and now it's even more discreet with the turbonium

You will defintely see a drop in tone when you go turbo and can I say more ballsy sound...like your car grew a pair while you weren't paying attention. I have the Hayame catback which is actually a pretty impressive sounding catback. I haven't seen many people w/ it...I know Rand has it, but besides that I don't know. When I went turbo it just got a lower tone and sounds more clean, like Xmasta said more discreet and not as ricy.

This is my exhaust. It's a Reactive muffler with 2.5 back. I got the pipes made at a local exhaust shop. The exhaust is one piece from the cat back. And it doesn't have that nasty 90 degree bend over the suspension. It goes under it like the hks exhaust. I went from a 17.00 to a 16.10 with this and a cold air pipe. And it only cost about 200-300 depends on how much your muffler is. Mine was 120 and the exhaust shop did the pipes for 100. :dsm:

I actually already have a muffler, would adding a back onto it change its sound? also if a cat-back looks a little beat up and slightly rusted in some places, would spraying a coat of high-temp black paint help protect it against rusting?

Edit:
Also what muffler shop did your back?

ROFL Correction, grew a pair while you worked on her for a few days of pain in the ass work! The exhaust sounded pretty good while NA and sounds damn good with a turbo!

anyone kno if PA has emissions inspections? and if they dont, would a test pipe give me anything more than a high-flow cat would?

so does anyone know if spraying some high-temp paint on a used exhaust (not the tip obviously) would help prevent rusting?

Yes...it defintely will make the exhaust last longer and prevent rust from happening quicker than it usually would. The paint will eventually chip off after time, but it defintely will make a difference in the long run. But SS is the way to go. :thumb:

alright thanks for the help... This exhaust is really not going to be on longer than 2-3 years probably less, then I will be turboing

hopefully ill be getting the exhaust in the next couple weeks and I'll let ya kno how it goes
