Old New member and Can you get Engine Type from VIN?

Hi guys, I am a new old member, I used to have a 1st gen Talon back in 2006 and it eventually siezed up on me. A 2nd gen has come under my radar, but its for auction onlne and I cannot see the engine is there any way to take the vin and find out if its turbo or not?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a vin decoder website or PDF of some sort?

Or better yet, i have pictures of the front end of the car, (none of under the hood) is there any obvious signs of the turbo motor such as the presence or abscence of an intercooler by the license plate by chance?

right around page 17 or so; 8th digit of VIN should be F for a turbo car.

GSX or GST 2ga will have a gray lip around the bottom, 2ga talon will have the twistie side skirts, 2gb's are the most difficult to tell if turbo or not but they have there tells.

I'm pretty sure the vin will tell you if it should have had turbo at one point, but you won't know if it actually still has it until you look under the hood. Visual inspections are premium.
