Mine don't work and I would rather have more air going into my IC anyway. So it there a way to remove the bracket to?
 
got rid of my oem ones also
they stuck way out
on the hahn fmic the bolts that hold the fog brackets are removed and replaced with spacers and studs very simple but it does move the fogs out about 3 inches

i just got some cheap driving lights and mounted them in the air dam holes and wired them to the stock wiring

there is a before and after photo in my gallery

So there are bolts holding the bracket on to, good. I couldn't see them.
 
yea there are ... you'll have to remove the front bumper but pulling the fogs is fairly simple. I actually wanted to keep mine since dsm headlights aren't bright at all but I too had no choice because of my fmic pipes.
