ok i've done the searching and cant find a flow map for a 16m turbo....

i have a mhi 16m turbo at work just lying around and i've been trying to find a flow map for about a week now with no luck....the thing is the turbo would be free and i know it was a good pull off unit...plus i also have a turbo fwd automatic car with a dead 14b and some other spare street stuff and i could throw together a fun to drive tire incentorator but i was wanting a map to look at for a idea of spool up/eff ratio any help would be great...thanks!

How did you come to the conclusion that it's a 16m? I've done a bit of searching and I don't see any MHI turbo's with that designation. Where did you get it?

Ummm....there's no such thing as a 16m, I don't know where that came from. What's the serial number on it, and what did it come off of?

it says te06-16m on the id plate and i will grag the serial number monday and post it monday night.....the compresser wheel looks similar to a g series wheel but the secondary blade set does not come up even with the primary set...they stop about half way up....other than that i have no other info at the moment, hell i cant even remember what machine it came off of

that sounds legit, because the letter of the name of these turbos defines which compressor wheel it uses. G is normally the "performance" wheel, while others are for different things. Thats why we have b, c, g, and apparently m.

Is it a really large turbo? TE06 series turbo's are usually for large diesel engine's.

this is what was on the turbo and it looks like the same housing as any 20g or other tdo6 but it says teo6 on the id tag........

Pull the housing off and measure the wheels, maybe they'll match something that some of the vendors use in their hybrid turbo's. Do you have any pictures?

That's the best I could come up with. It probably came off of a delivery truck or something.
