Oil question

I want to run 5-40 oil in my car. The shop I work at only has 5-30 and 5-50. Is it ok to mix the two to get 5-40?

No, the ECU will not like that, plus I don't think mixing them will give you accurate weight anyway.

Cuz it's a computer, and we all know computers are smarter than us.

As for mixing the two to get one, nope, it doesn't add up.:thumbdown
