So im wondering what could be the problem
My oil pressure drops all the way on the gauge when coasting or idleing. The oil light will flash on and off. Should i take it in and get them to do a pressure test or something ?

First you need to accurately test what oil pressure you have. Start by getting a gauge from the parts store and hook it up on the OFH then start the car. Thread size should be 1/8" BSPT (NPT will work). Monitor what the oil pressure is at during Idle, cruising, WOT. Don't trust your stock gauge until you can verify it. Test it accurately then go forward with what could be causing your issue..If you do end up having a pressure issue.

As stated what oil are you running? I ran 5w30 Full Syntec Castrol and mine would do it until I up'd it to 10w30 and now considering putting lucas pure synthetic with next change only because it works and seems to help anyways (just my opinion not in any way suggesting for you to do this..) Make sure no leaks in timing as well or leaks in general like possibly even head gasket

If your light is coming on check all stated above then double check wiring for the light to make sure its ok, an aftermarket is 100% needed honestly because the stock boost / oil gauge is really not dependable.

My aftermarket gauge reads 105 psi when cold start and comes down when getting warm of course... my stock gauge when cold reads about 1/2 way maybe a hair higher at times.

I just had this problem last week. The light would come on 20 mins after pushing it. Once it came on, it would flicker on idle and go away once I gave it a little bit of gas. I also notice my idling was low (500 rpm) which is where the light came on at and would go away at 600+. My car was leaking oil. I had a few leaky gaskets and seals...Had those fixed and the light hasn't came on since.

If you have to drive on it i would suggest not pushing it too hard and get it checked asap. if could be many different things like a HG, bad seals, oil pump etc....
